“Improving crew working conditions, boosting customer experience”
[Herald Economy = Kwon Je-in] On April 20, Parata Air announced it has chosen global performance footwear brand Rockport as a supplier and rolled out new ramp shoes to enhance cabin crew comfort and safety. The airline says the shoes were designed with real working conditions in mind—built to stay comfortable on long flights and fitted with slip-resistant soles to boost both safety and practicality.
Parata currently operates medium-haul routes, including Vietnam, and plans to expand into the Americas and Europe. With longer duty periods on the horizon, the carrier expects crew fatigue management to become increasingly important.
Seo Hyo-jeong, head of Parata Air’s cabin crew team, said, “Supporting our crew so they can work in their most comfortable state directly improves the customer experience. We’ll keep communicating with frontline staff to raise safety and service quality together.”
Parata views the frontline as the starting point of customer service and continues to push for better working conditions for its crew. The airline runs a monthly “Office Day” led by the cabin crew team to strengthen on-the-ground communication and actively implements suggestions from its “Cabin Report,” delivering tangible improvements month after month since the program began.
