Global outdoor brand The North Face just cemented its status as a national go-to, snagging the No. 1 spot in fashion for an impressive 13th straight year.

On the 17th, Youngone Outdoor announced that Brandstock named The North Face the No. 1 fashion brand in its "Top 100 Brands in Korea 2025" ranking.
Brandstock's "Top 100 Brands in Korea" list has been published annually since 2003. It evaluates roughly 1,000 representative brands across about 230 industry groups. Rankings are based on the BSTI index, which blends a brand stock-price index formed from simulated trading on Brandstock's exchange (70%) with a consumer index (30%).
Under its "Never Stop Exploring" philosophy, The North Face has consistently rolled out pieces that showcase its proprietary technology and craftsmanship. By keeping pace with rapidly shifting consumer tastes, the brand has become a cross-generational favorite.
Particularly notable is its dominance in puffers — so much so that many call it the country's go-to puffer brand. The 1996 Retro Nuptse Down Jacket and the Novelty Nuptse Down Jacket remain among its best-sellers.

The North Face is also active in growing outdoor and sports culture beyond product performance. In May, it successfully held the 10th running of the global trail-running event The North Face 100 Gangwon, which began in 2016. In September, it hosted the 29th edition of the The North Face Cup National Sport Climbing Competition, a nationwide event held since 2003.
The brand’s support through The North Face Athlete Team — launched in 2005 as the first athlete team in Korea's outdoor industry — also draws attention. Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, the team has scouted and supported explorers and national athletes across multiple disciplines.
A Youngone Outdoor representative said, "We'll keep rolling out innovative products and standout services that delight our customers so we can remain a beloved national brand. We'll also continue our efforts to help more people enjoy healthier, happier outdoor and sports experiences."
