[The Public=Reporter Jo Doo-hee] Hyosung TNC said on March 24 that it has partnered with lifestyle-wear specialist Gritty to co-develop new products using innovative materials.
Under the agreement, Hyosung TNC will supply its high-performance fabrics to Gritty’s major brands. The two companies will collaborate across technical research, product development and product launches, beginning with Gamtan Bra.
As part of the partnership, they co-developed a fabric called Aquafresh25 and applied it to Gritty’s seamless underwear line, Gamtan Bra. In February, the pair rolled out the new 2025 AirSoft collection in both standard and large-cup options.
Aquafresh25 combines Hyosung TNC’s cooling nylon yarn Creora Aqua-X with the odor-control spandex Creora Fresh. The result is a high-performance fabric that delivers strong cooling, excellent stretch and durability, quick moisture-wicking and drying, odor resistance, and a snug, cling-free fit.
Hyosung TNC adds that the Gamtan Bra 2025 AirSoft, made with Aquafresh25 and an in-house soft mold, remains comfortable during long wear while providing a smooth silhouette and superior fit.
Beyond Gamtan Bra, the partners plan to expand collaboration across all of Gritty’s brands, including Wonderbra, Playtex, Just My Size, Benetton, Juicy Couture and Witt.
Kim Chi-hyung, CEO of Hyosung TNC, said the company achieved measurable product development results after close talks with Gritty since last year, and that it will continue to strengthen cooperation on R&D, product development and launches going forward.
