Premium-cooling Freshvent windbreakers are stealing the spotlight
Outdoor brand Discovery Expedition unveiled a photoshoot for its lightweight windbreaker collection on the 24th, starring its ambassador, actor Byun Woo-seok.
In the images, Byun Woo-seok grabs attention as he layers several pieces from the lightweight line while enjoying outdoor activities.
Expecting a longer-than-usual summer, Discovery Expedition significantly expanded its 25SS lightweight windbreaker collection to offer more styles you can wear comfortably from late spring through mid-summer.
At the heart of the lineup are Freshvent windbreakers with premium cooling technology. Some styles also include UV protection, blocking strong summer rays while keeping the pieces light and breathable for upgraded performance.
The Freshvent Men’s Bansley Jacket is the summer, lightweight take on the functional Bansley outdoor jacket—pairing cooling Freshvent fabric with chic colorblocking details.
The ultra-light ripstop windbreaker is another standout. Built from an ultra-light ripstop fabric with windproof and water-repellent properties, it creates a soft, flowing silhouette that hugs the body, delivering a featherlight feel without sacrificing durability.
The lightweight Gore Windstopper Jacket emphasizes outdoor-inspired colorblocking: Gore Windstopper material on the upper section and the brand’s own functional fabric on the lower, positioning it as a lead jacket in the HYBE lineup. The Gore Windstopper material offers excellent wind protection, breathability, and water repellency, keeping you comfortable even when summer weather turns unpredictable.
A Discovery Expedition spokesperson said, “With summers getting longer, lightweight windbreakers that pack strong functionality will become must-haves. One light windbreaker covers you indoors—where strong air conditioning can cause chills—and outdoors, from sudden showers to blazing sun.”
