Great Teacher Onizuka (GTO),
Gokusen, Crows,
and even High&Low — Japanese school dramas
have a kind of romantic nostalgia to them.
In a time when grit and romance mixed freely,
these school stories left a big cultural mark.
So it made total sense when the urban‑casual label
series teamed up with GTO
— and people couldn’t stop talking about it.
Made for Seongsu‑dong’s motorcycle crowd,
this pop‑up recreated that golden era
— nostalgia done right.

The Series X GTO pop‑up runs April 30 through May 10,
covering Korea’s busy holiday stretch —
so if you’ve got plans for a couples’ or family outing,
pair it with a stop at the Seoul Forest World Garden Expo,
and you’ve got a perfect day out.
RSG Seongsu hosted the collaboration,
and the venue was a rider’s dream —
motorcycles and riding culture were front and center,
which made the concept feel smart and well executed.
The punching machine — an icon of bravado — stood proud,
and vintage bikes that used to make riders’ hearts race
— think Kawasaki and Honda classics.
The moment you walked in, it felt genuinely authentic.
From a recreated rebels’ classroom
to an arcade‑style bike game you used to watch older kids play,
the space nails that era’s vibe — all the grit and romance.
Honestly, wandering through these setups is fun in itself.
From pigment‑dyed tees
to reversible coach jackets,
the pieces are seriously good-looking.

the pieces are seriously good-looking.
The clothes shined just as much as the set design,
from military‑inspired staples that defined men’s style back then,
to oversized tees with standout dyed washes,
and reversible coach jackets — the range was impressive.
Series proved once again it knows how to make great clothes.
Personally, I’d reach for the oversized dyed tee —
the vintage color palette and textured prints feel so natural,
and really pop on camera.
Throw on a ball cap,
and it makes a great couples’ look, too.
