Premium golf apparel brand Daks Golf has launched the New Pleats Collection, showcasing pleated fabrics across the line.
Pleats form a three-dimensional structure through evenly spaced folds and have been a staple of contemporary fashion. Because the fabric doesn't sit flat, pleated materials offer excellent breathability. Still, designers have tended to avoid them in golfwear, where both mobility and shape retention are essential. Daks Golf reimagined pleats as a functional construction and engineered them specifically for golf, creating a new category.
Design-wise, the collection takes cues from the precise groove lines of golf clubs and translates them into a restrained, flowing texture. The uniform pleat construction adds a sculptural dimension. Paired with refined colorways and silhouettes that naturally expand with movement, the pieces bridge the gap between the course and everyday life.
The core innovation is a lightweight, stretch-pleat structure. Compared with typical casual pleats, Daks has increased elasticity so the fabric expands and contracts with your movements, giving golfers the range of motion needed for a full swing. At the same time, enhanced breathability and reduced weight keep wearers comfortable during long rounds.
The lineup focuses on pieces that fuse pleated fabric with golfwear performance. Highlights include a semi-sheer organza hooded jumper; a hybrid layered T-shirt with cooling performance fabric on the sleeves; a separable vest that adapts to changing temperatures; and a raglan T-shirt with modified sleeve patterns to boost arm mobility.
The collection also includes wide pants, shorts, and mock-neck T-shirts.
Streetwear label Kirsh teamed up with Sanrio Korea to launch the Charmmy Kitty collection. The collaboration centers on an Urban Playground theme that celebrates enjoying city life in your own style.
The collection leans on Charmmy Kitty’s signature pink and blends ribbons, hearts, and pearl necklaces with Kirsh’s cherry motif. Big graphics, vintage washes, and loose silhouettes fuse Y2K and street sensibilities. The line spans 17 items, from hoodies, shirts, and sleeveless tops to sweat sets, plus accessories like hats and tote bags.
The standout piece, the Charmmy Kitty Doll Charm Hood Zip-Up, features a three-dimensional Charmmy Kitty charm and Kirsh’s cherry motif as bell ornaments, so it makes a statement on its own. The Charmmy Kitty Loose-Fit T-shirt uses vintage pigment-washed fabric with oversized graphics of Charmmy Kitty, hearts, and ribbons; its relaxed silhouette adds a street-style focal point to any outfit.
The collection debuts first on Musinsa at 11 a.m. on the 4th. Musinsa’s online mall and the Kirsh pop-up at Musinsa Store Myeong-dong will offer the full Charmmy Kitty collaboration at a 10% discount and will include a Charmmy Kitty keyring pouch with purchases over ₩100,000 (about $75).
At the Kirsh pop-up, every Charmmy Kitty purchaser will receive a reusable bag. From the 8th through the 10th, customers who spend over ₩100,000 (about $75) will also have the chance to customize Kirsh DIY keycaps.
