[MyDaily = Reporter Chun Ju-young] Newbury Street brand eganiks has tapped actress Shin Se-kyung as the advertising model for its AI-powered at-home care device, TightHera.

The device’s standout feature is its AI-driven personalization. It analyzes daily changes in a user’s skin and automatically chooses the most effective treatment from five modes, including radio frequency (RF) and high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU). The company also introduced a proprietary "wideband dual wave" technology that enables custom frequency design, and it enhanced performance with input from numerous research specialists and medical advisors.

Regarding the model selection, a brand representative said Shin Se-kyung’s healthy, refined image aligns with eganiks’ commitment to personalized care. Campaign videos and photo spreads will be released on the brand’s official channels in stages.

With this collaboration, eganiks aims to raise awareness of its AI personal-beauty technology and broaden its consumer touchpoints.

Meanwhile, Shin Se-kyung, who showed deeper dramatic range in the recent film "Humint," is reportedly reviewing offers for her next project.
