Designer Ko Tae-yong’s fashion label Beyond Closet has unveiled its 2025 winter collection.
Titled NYRP, the 25FW collection gives a bold, modern twist to classic preppy style—reimagining it in the way people actually want to wear it today. The third lineup moves away from strictly neat, traditional looks and delivers cool, polished preppy outfits with a contemporary edge.
Standout is the 90s Revival Cashmere Blend Tailored Jacket, crafted from a high-quality cashmere‑wool blend with an irresistibly soft hand. Thoughtful touches—natural horn buttons, accent buttons on the lining, and a slogan label—give it a quietly luxurious finish.
The Low Edge Tweed Jacket, in a sleek black-and-charcoal palette, offers a natural silhouette in a standard fit that transitions easily from casual to formal. Unique cutting details add subtle visual interest. Coats and jackets across the lineup—including the luxe Alpaca Blend Single Coat made from an alpaca‑wool mix—are produced in limited quantities, adding to their appeal.
The check-patterned Preppy Plaid Zip-Up Fleece — notable for its daring color mix — works as both an inner layer and a lightweight outer piece; a half-neck and drawstring let you tweak the fit. You’ll also find a fuzzy‑textured cardigan, flannel‑check wool pants, the classic ILP Coze Stripe muffler, playful patch appliqués, the lapel-accented Nomantic The Long Hug muffler, beanies, and other accessories.
Beyond Closet will release new drops from the 2025 winter collection every Friday through November 21.
