With spring on the horizon, Lotte Home Shopping is rolling out a major drop of new-season items from exclusive fashion labels as part of its \"Fashion is Lotte\" special.
The label the retailer focused on most for the spring/summer season is 3.1 Phillip Lim Studio. Launched in 2005 by Chinese‑American designer Phillip Lim, the brand centers on effortless sophistication. Its practical, New York‑inspired pieces have stayed popular with fashion lovers in Korea.
Lotte Home Shopping spent about eight months preparing the 3.1 Phillip Lim Studio launch. After signing an exclusive licensing agreement, the company lined up new merchandise worth 12 billion KRW (9 million USD) for the season. Marking the brand’s 20th anniversary, the rollout features a broad selection of practical items—jackets, knits, pants, and skirts—crafted from premium materials that emphasize the label’s signature identity.
The retailer recently unveiled three new 3.1 Phillip Lim Studio pieces: the signature knit, a tweed knit jacket, and crystal pants. Next month, it plans to continue releasing this season’s standout items, including a leather half‑trench jacket, the GIZA T‑shirt, and a crystal denim jacket.
Kim Ji‑yeon, head of fashion at Lotte Home Shopping, said, “Designer brand 3.1 Phillip Lim Studio, which blends classic New York sensibility with contemporary trends, has received a strong early response. As the brand we poured the most effort into for the spring and summer season, we plan to offer the restrained sophistication typical of New York fashion to meet the needs of women in their 40s and 50s.”
