On March 10, KOCCA, led by acting president Yoo Hyun-seok, announced it staged “Concept Korea 2026 F/W” at Paris’s Palais de Tokyo on March 2–3, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Concept Korea is designed to help rising Korean designers break into overseas markets. Timed to coincide with major international fashion weeks, the program gives designers runway space to debut new collections and sharpen K-fashion’s global edge.

Three standout Korean labels — KIMHĒKIM, RE RHEE, and BONBOM — lit up the Paris showcase. KIMHĒKIM opened a solo show on March 2 and earned praise for reworking French couture techniques through the brand’s signature aesthetic. On March 3, RE RHEE and BONBOM shared the runway, earning applause from industry insiders for reinterpreting traditional costume elements and pairing sculptural silhouettes with contrasting materials.

The event’s global ambassador, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, was on hand throughout, amplifying the buzz and drawing notable attention from Paris-based media and visitors — a welcome boost for broader awareness of Korean fashion.
