Hanwha Life Esports knocked off T1 to extend their winning streak to 8.
On May 1 at Chijijik Roll Park in Seoul's Jongno-gu district, during Game 3 of Match 2 of the 2026 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) regular season, T1 on the blue side drafted Gragas, Pantheon, Aurora, Kai'Sa and Poppy. Hanwha Life Esports, on the red side, selected Jayce, Vi, Ahri, Xayah and Rakan.
At the 11-minute mark, a mid-lane skirmish broke out ahead of the second dragon. Hanwha Life picked off opponents one by one, claimed 2 kills and secured a dragon to add to their stacks. By the 15-minute mark, they were winning fights across the map and began to tilt the game in their favor.
T1 answered with consecutive skirmishes in the top and bottom lanes, trimming the gold deficit. But at 22 minutes, Hanwha Life quickly secured the Dragon Soul and seized the momentum. In the ensuing Baron fight, Zeus recorded a quadra kill and the team claimed Baron as well.
Finally, at 29 minutes Hanwha Life pushed into T1's base, destroyed the Nexus, avenged their round-one loss and moved into sole possession of first place.
