The Korea Racing Authority said on April 17 that about 284,000 people visited the festival, which blended horses, cherry blossoms and springtime vibes under the theme '馬시멜ロ.'
The nighttime cherry blossom walk stole the show: photo zones, an outdoor wedding-style lounge and a carousel became social media favorites. Interactive experiences — from a media façade to mobile science exhibits — were also a big hit with families.
A drone show featuring roughly 400 drones painted the night sky with formations symbolizing family and growth, drawing enthusiastic applause from attendees.
A Korea Racing Authority official said, "This cherry blossom festival is the country's only integrated event that brings together horses, nature, culture and hands-on experiences. We plan to grow it into a premier spring leisure attraction for the Seoul metropolitan area while contributing to local communities."
