Hanjin Travel hosted a briefing for agency partners to showcase Antarctic and South American cruise packages, kicking off a major sales push. The April 16 event in the main auditorium of the Hanjin Building drew about 60 attendees, where cruise specialists took the stage to share product details and sales strategies.

They unveiled four standout itineraries: a 30-day South America cruise on the Majestic Princess that visits the Uyuni Salt Flats, Iguazu Falls and Machu Picchu; a 26-day South America cruise that pairs Celebrity Cruises' all‑inclusive offering with business-class seating; a 19-day Antarctic cruise with glacier views including Elephant Island; and a 20-day Patagonia Glacier Expedition aboard the Australis Ventus that lets passengers step ashore on glaciers.

Hanjin Travel says its edge is proactive risk management. To reduce long-haul fatigue, it increases business-class seating on the longest sectors and books stays at top-tier hotels. The company also offers real-time support from cruise-specialist travel managers and guarantees departures with just two travelers.

Representatives from LATAM Airlines and Princess Cruises attended as well. LATAM highlighted its competitive South American network, while Princess Cruises underscored the Majestic Princess’s proven strengths in the Asian market.

Ko Jung-hyun, head of the cruise group, said, "We want to build a virtuous cycle where travelers who try short cruises move on to the Mediterranean and Alaska, and then to South America and Antarctica. Through close cooperation with our partners, we’ll open a new horizon for cruise travel."
