Gapyeong County is turning up the charm on local tourism with interactive, visitor-focused programs that invite people to explore.
On the 26th, the county announced it will run the '2026 Gapyeong Every Corner Stamp Tour' for visitors from outside the county, running through November 30.
The concept is simple and fun: visit major attractions and collect stamps at each stop.
Souvenirs will be awarded based on how many stamps you collect — a light, motivating incentive designed to encourage participation and boost the area's visibility.
Twenty locations are included in the tour, such as The Garden of Morning Calm, Petite France, Begonia New Garden, Swiss Theme Park, Jeokmok Yongso, the Unaksan suspension bridge, and even the shuttle bus that links the attractions.
To join, pick up a leaflet at a tourist information center or at any participating site, stamp the map on the back, then submit your entry online using the QR code.
Collect three or more stamps and you'll receive a coffee gift coupon.
There’s also a monthly raffle: post your participation photos on social media for a chance to win a chicken gift coupon.
\"We will continue working to revitalize the local economy through a variety of tourism programs,\" a county official said.
