BNK'Taeyun' Kim Tae-yun joined the team, and BNK snapped its losing streak — coach Park Jun-seok of BNK talked about his first meeting with Taeyun.

BNK defeated DN 2-0 on the afternoon of the 3rd in a Week 5 LCK match at the LCK Arena in Grand Seoul Roll Park in Jongno-gu, Seoul. The win ended BNK's three-game skid and moved them to 3-7 on the season (−7), good for eighth place. DN fell to a nine-game losing streak, dropping to 1-9 (−16).

"We fell behind early in Game 1, but I believed our champions still had value," coach Park Jun-seok said. "We played patiently, didn't force plays, and won the team fights. In Game 2, our bottom lane built an early lead and we were able to snowball it."

Kim Tae-yun — known as "Taeyun" — joined BNK after leaving Nongshim RedForce and was named Player of the Match. Park said, "I didn't hold a formal meeting. We just talked and got along well. I tried to keep things natural — he joined suddenly and might have felt awkward, so I worked to help him settle in with the team."

Park added that, despite the win, the roster will need more practice with Tae-yun now on board. "We need to increase our practice time," he said. "Tae-yun and Kelin (Kim Hyung-gyu) have to talk through roles and tiers, so it'll take some time."

"We were uneasy early, but we won comfortably today," Park concluded. "I expect the players to gel and build on this momentum. I'm thrilled to get a win after a long drought — we'll keep this going and continue to put up strong performances."
