[CBC News] Singer and actor Park Ji-hoon returns to music, revealing a deeper musical sensibility.

Park Ji-hoon will release his first single, RE:FLECT, at 6 p.m. on the 29th across major online music platforms. The release marks his return to music roughly three years after his 7th mini-album Blank or Black, released in April 2023.

Having solidified his acting career, Park channels that artistic growth and musical introspection into this comeback. The title RE:FLECT signifies confronting the time and emotions he’s experienced to reflect on who he is now.

The title track 'Bodyelse' pairs dreamy synthesizers with emotive guitar riffs in a midtempo pop-dance song. It captures the moment someone realizes that an unfamiliar feeling in daily life was actually about \"you,\" anchored by an addictive chorus.

The three-track release also includes 'Watercolor,' which delivers a refreshing, painterly mood, and the pop ballad 'I Can't Hold Your Hand Anymore,' which layers understated vocals over acoustic-guitar lines. Together they underscore Park Ji-hoon’s expanded musical range.

His agency said the album’s candid look into Park’s inner life, combined with his matured vocals and distinctive sensibility, should captivate fans worldwide.

Park Ji-hoon's new single RE:FLECT will be available to stream from 6 p.m. today.
