The group wrapped the final shows of its inaugural national tour, 2026 Drop the NEWBEAT: NEURO 1000 PROJECT, at Seoul’s Musinsa Garage on the 14th and 15th.
The tour, which launched in Seoul in January, visited Suwon, Daejeon, Daegu and Busan before returning to the capital for the finale, giving the group a chance to connect with fans across the country. NewBeat performed their debut single \"Flip the Coin\" and hits including \"Look So Good,\" \"JeLLo\" and \"Cappuccino,\" and treated audiences to EDM-style reworks of older tracks to keep the set dynamic.
The group also previewed unreleased songs slated for release, presenting them in varied unit combinations that highlighted a broader musical range. Notably, member Jeon Yeoyeojung soldiered through an ankle injury to perform. NewBeat further demonstrated their versatility with ambitious cover medleys featuring \"Siren,\" \"Hero,\" \"Son Goku\" and \"Fire.\"
At the show's close, NewBeat told NEURO, their fandom, that every moment of the tour had felt like a dream and brought them immense joy. The group thanked fans for their overwhelming support and promised to return stronger. A May comeback announcement in the concert’s outro video sent the crowd into loud cheers.
The tour ran alongside the NEURO 1000 Project, an initiative to meet 1,000 fans in person. The group pledged to donate ₩10 million (approximately $7,500) if they succeeded, or to march 1,000 km if they fell short. Ahead of and after shows, members held participatory events such as busking and hi-bye meetups to engage closely with fans, adding suspense over whether they would complete the mission.
Having successfully concluded their first national tour, NewBeat will accelerate preparations for a new album targeted for a May comeback.
