Voices across generations rose from a single stage. To mark its 100th anniversary, Gyeongbuk Girls' High School staged a centennial concert that drew a strong turnout from alumnae.
Held on the 11th, the concert did more than celebrate a milestone. It traced the school’s century-long history while looking ahead to its future. Roughly 1,280 alumnae filled the auditorium, and an approximately 110-member alumni choir delivered rich, layered harmonies.
The sight of alumnae from different generations joining their voices became the evening’s highlight, drawing sustained applause and cheers throughout the performance.
The concert reunited alumnae who had spent decades apart, creating a stage of unity that symbolized the school’s 100-year journey.
“I never imagined that bonds formed on the same campus would reemerge on such a large stage,” one alumna said. “Supporting one another to create this performance made the experience especially meaningful.”
Built on voluntary participation, the concert’s voices did more than commemorate the past — they carried shared memories of a century and a renewed commitment to the future.
