On KBS 2TV’s Prescribing Love, Gong Jeong-han (Kim Seung-soo) explodes in anger at Yang Dong-ik (Kim Hyung-mook).

Episode 21, which aired on the 11th, pushed the weekend drama’s central conflict further as the long-standing friendship between Gong Jeong-han and Yang Dong-ik began to fracture. The series, directed by Han Jun-seo and Bae Eun-hye, written by Park Ji-suk and produced by HB Entertainment, leaned into themes of betrayal and secrecy in this instalment.

Gong Jeong-han discovers that Yang Dong-ik staged a scheme, and the revelation leaves him feeling deeply betrayed. Although Yang immediately apologizes and expresses remorse, Gong is slow to forgive, and their bond snaps once more.

The episode deepens the fallout when Gong learns his daughter, Gong Joo-ah (Jin Se-yeon), knew about the staged incident beforehand. The news devastates him and triggers stress-related gastritis. Joo-ah begs her father to keep the secret, warning that the rest of the family would be shocked and that peace between the two families would be ruined if the truth came out.

Unaware of Joo-ah’s request, Cha Se-ri (So Yi-hyun) meets with her and pressures her to conceal the incident from the rest of the family, emphasizing that Yang Hyun-bin (Park Ki-woong) must not be harmed. That coercion reopens the rift between the previously reconciled Joo-ah and Hyun-bin.

Meanwhile, Min Ji-hoo (Jo Yi-hyun) asks Yang Dong-sook (Jo Mi-ryung) to hire Choi Min-seo (Park Ri-won) as a tutor. Choi politely declines, saying she would prefer part-time work at the shop to meet different people, but ultimately accepts the tutoring position after an earnest plea from Yang Eun-bin (Yoon Seo-ah).

Gong Dae-han (Choi Dae-chul) and Yang Dong-sook reignite a spark during a date. Dae-han confesses his feelings and asks Dong-sook to be his girlfriend; she asks for time to consider the offer.

By the episode’s close, Gong Jeong-han tells Yang Dong-ik, “We’re not friends anymore,” formally ending their friendship. Meanwhile, Gong Joo-ah visits Yang Hyun-bin’s house to care for him during a bout of flu and unexpectedly stumbles across memories from their past. The encounter leads them to reaffirm their feelings; Joo-ah and Hyun-bin share a kiss and spend the night together.
