Yeon-woo and Kim Hyun-jin’s romance is heating up.
Last week’s episode of the drama Lovephobia, which streams on U+ Mobile TV and Lifetime, tracked Yun Bia (Yeon-woo) and Han Seon-ho (Kim Hyun-jin) as they weathered a campaign of terror and, in the process, deepened their connection — delivering a resonant portrait of what the show frames as “true love.” As their bond grows, the series has steadily raised the stakes; here’s a look at the romance that’s driven the show’s emotional momentum.
Their first meeting was anything but auspicious. Yun Bia lives with a trauma that leaves her unable to be around others for more than an hour. When she reached her limit during an investor briefing, she fled for the parking garage. Cornered and panicked, she shoved Seon-ho — who happened to be opening his car door — jumped into the vehicle, clung on for about 10 seconds, then stepped out as if nothing had happened, leaving him stunned. What seemed like a one-off encounter escalated into tabloid fodder after Seon-ho helped a distressed Yun Bia; she later acknowledged the relationship to defuse a corporate crisis, tying their fates together even tighter.

When Han Baek-ho (Choi Byung-chan) mishandled an investment and put the company at risk of falling into the hands of loan sharks, Seon-ho took Yun Bia’s collaborative offer seriously and took her hand. He later discovered that Yang Sun-ae (Im Ji-eun), a woman he once befriended in a library, was Yun Bia’s mother — and when he learned Sun-ae had died, he began to understand Yun Bia’s drive to create an unchanging AI companion. After a tech malfunction left Yun Bia trapped at home, Seon-ho went to her and gently urged, “Let’s go — out into the world.” Hesitant at first, she accepted his hand and later appeared at the Fomi Version 2 prototype demo, confidently finishing the presentation.
Seon-ho then pursued her openly, and Yun Bia, having confirmed his feelings, accepted his affection. Their happiness, however, was short-lived: a creepy doll sent to intimidate Bia and a blood-stained knife delivered to Seon-ho’s house raised the threat level. Yun Bia tried to stay composed, and Seon-ho became her anchor, reminding her that the world she’d created was larger than she thought. Buoyed by his support, she began greeting staff first and reclaiming a more ordinary life, a visible sign of personal growth. The tension peaked when the shocking truth emerged: all the attacks were driven by Seol Jae-hee’s (Jo Yoon-seo) pathological obsession with Yun Bia. With the couple pushed to the brink, viewers are left wondering how their love story will resolve.
Episode 7 of Lovephobia, produced by WEMAD, will air on Lifetime at 11 p.m. on the 12th and will be available on U+ Mobile TV at 10 a.m. on the 16th.
