Novotel Ambassador Suwon announced it will run Family Month events and the lobby bar’s Sweet Days promotion throughout May. On Children’s Day (May 5), the buffet restaurant The Square will host special programs for young guests. From noon to 7 p.m., children can get face painting, and a prize-draw will award stickers, keyrings, and candy featuring the hotel mascot Suwoni. The kids’ menu even includes little flag name tags for extra visual fun.

On Parents’ Day (May 8), the hotel is offering thoughtful perks for guests dining with their parents. During lunch and dinner, the first 60 reservations that include parents will receive a complimentary carnation basket (one per table). Dinner bookings will also qualify for a lucky draw to win a bottle of house wine.

To keep the festive vibe going, there are ongoing promotions. Visit The Square on a weekday, follow the hotel’s official Kakao Plus Friend account, and show proof to staff to enjoy a free draft beer. The lobby bar’s Sweet Days package runs through August 31 and pairs the Italian premium sparkling Bottega Gold (200ml, 6.8 fl oz) with light snacks.

Four Seasons Hotel Seoul is serving up a variety of culinary experiences for Family Month. At its Italian restaurant Boccalino, the brunch course Pranzo Italiano debuts with an antipasti buffet plus table service for soup, a main, dessert, and coffee or tea. Starters include a choice of asparagus-pea soup or a rich bisque. Mains range from juicy Australian sirloin and a delicate white-fish dish to Diavolo pizza and crab linguine. For an extra charge, you can upgrade to premium Korean beef (1++ grade) sirloin or a roasted lobster.

If you’re hunting for a spot that satisfies every appetite, The Market Kitchen buffet is ideal. On Children’s Day (May 5), it will feature a kids-only station and hands-on activities. The kids’ station will serve favorites like royal-style tteokbokki, hot dogs, and fried chicken, while cookie decorating and dalgona candy-making workshops offer playful treats. A clown will craft whimsical balloon creations on-site, making the day a memorable family outing.

Don’t skip Confections by Four Seasons’ seasonal cakes for dessert. The Caramel Saint-Honoré captures the classic French pastry’s charm with crisp pastry layers, caramel choux, and a creamy vanilla filling for a perfect textural balance. Its deep caramel notes and pleasant sweetness make it a hit with the whole family. The Moonlight Jar Cake—inspired by Korea’s traditional moon pottery—offers an elegant presentation and a subtle ginseng flavor, making it a refined gift for Parents’ Day or Teacher’s Day.

The Shilla Seoul Hotel’s Pastry Boutique is offering a limited-season cake collection throughout May. The lineup includes three cakes, one roll cake, and a set of baked goods. Blooming Love is the Pastry Boutique’s signature Family Month cake—topped with fresh carnations, it’s designed for gifting to parents or teachers as a heartfelt token of appreciation. Layers of blueberry chiffon, fresh cream, and blueberry jam deliver a soft, bright flavor. Blooming Love is available through May 15.

The newly released Secret Rose Garden evokes a blooming rose garden, blending elegance with a flutter of excitement. The abundant rose petals on top are delicately crafted from white chocolate, while the milk-chocolate sponge—infused with subtle Earl Grey—pairs with a white-chocolate cream for a rich, well-balanced flavor.

There’s also a chocolate option kids will love. The heart-shaped Barrel Together reveals a hidden heart when sliced, symbolizing the sweetness of shared moments. A Sachertorte-style chocolate sponge layered with raspberry ganache and finished with raspberry mousse balances deep chocolate notes with a bright, fruity lift.

Rounding out the selection are the Petite Savoie Gift—a Pastry Boutique take on traditional baked goods from France’s Savoie region—and the Mango Delight Roll, which adds apple mango to the popular Anglaise roll cake.
