Jeju’s Seogwipo City announced on the 16th that it is recruiting vendors for the flea market at the 2026 Seogwipo Cruise Festa.

The Festa will cater to cruise passengers with a lively mix of programming — think a flea market, performances by haenyeo (female divers), and immersive traditional experiences.

Organizers will stage the event four times between April and May, timed to cruise arrival dates.

Events on April 22 and 26 and on May 6 will take place on the traffic island in front of the Gangjeong Cruise Terminal.

On May 19, when an overnight (1-night) cruise is scheduled to call, the program will be enhanced with a special fireworks show near Gangjeong Port.

The city is looking for local businesses that can promote and sell Jeju-themed handmade goods or regional specialties to cruise passengers.

Six vendors will be selected. Each chosen vendor will receive a temporary booth (integrated stand) and chairs for the day of the event.

Interested applicants should download the form from the Seogwipo City Hall website notice board between the 17th and 23rd, complete it, and submit it by email.

Selected vendors will be notified individually on the 31st of this month.
