Incheon Transit Corporation is rolling out a Cherry Blossom Season special for the Wolmido Sea Train.
On the 30th, the agency announced it will extend service during Wolmido’s cherry blossom bloom so locals can enjoy more spring sights and interactive experiences.
During the run, the agency will operate a cherry blossom–wrapped train with interiors decorated in blossom designs. It will also set up a cherry blossom photo zone in the Wolmibada Station concourse for visitors to take pictures.
Notably, the agency plans to extend operating hours from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on April 9–12, when the cherry blossoms are expected to peak.
From April 10–12, on-site events will take place at Wolmibada Station, including a Cherry Blossom Roulette for same-day ticket holders.
Also, from April 9–26, anyone who posts photos taken on the train or at the photo zone to their personal social media will be entered into a random drawing to win e-gift cards.
Choi Jeong-gyu, president of the transit corporation, said, "We prepared this program so visitors to the Wolmido Sea Train can enjoy a variety of springtime cherry blossom experiences. We will continue to expand seasonal tourism offerings."
