Korail’s Gyeongbuk Headquarters is rolling out a connected train travel package, Fall for Gyeongbuk 2026, to spark tourism across North Gyeongsang Province.
Created in partnership with Gyeongbuk Province and the Gyeongbuk Culture & Tourism Foundation, the package includes a one-way train ticket valid at 42 stations across the region — including Andong, Uiseong, Gunwi, Yeongju and Bonghwa — plus a 10,000 KRW (about $7.50) voucher to spend at station shops.
The best part: travelers who visit designated attractions and complete the verification process receive a 50% refund of the package price, making trips much more affordable.
Launched in 2023, Fall for Gyeongbuk has welcomed roughly 24,000 users and quickly become a fan favorite. With the Donghae and Jungang lines now fully double-tracked and electrified, getting around the province is easier than ever, and officials expect even greater tourism momentum this year.
You can purchase the package on Korail’s train travel website or via the KorailTalk mobile app.
Park Chan-jo, head of Korail’s Gyeongbuk Headquarters, said, "The expanded transport network has greatly improved access to Gyeongbuk tourism. We hope this package strengthens tourism links between regions and helps showcase Gyeongbuk’s appeal."
