Dragon Pony (An Tae-gyu, Pyeon Seong-hyun, Kwon Se-hyeok, Go Kang-hoon) held a showcase for their third EP, RUN RUN RUN, at YES24 Wonder Rock Hall in Mapo-gu, Seoul on the 10th.
After performing the title track \"Ah — Everything Goes My Way!\" the members said it was the song’s first live showing and that they were understandably nervous. Still, they added, they had fun and felt the performance went well.
\"Ah — Everything Goes My Way!\" is an anthem for young people determined to live on their own terms rather than by society’s standards. An Tae-gyu highlighted the song’s layered instrumentation, saying the shifting textures are the song’s payoff. \"There are a lot of intense performances, which makes it fun to listen to. The title works almost like a self-affirmation — you chant it to yourself and it gives you the feeling that anything is possible,\" he explained.
Kwon Se-hyeok pointed to the punctuation as part of the song’s impact. \"The exclamation point is the hook. I’d love for people to feel that emphasis,\" he said.
The music video, released alongside the single, traces the four members as they break out of cycles of surveillance and repetition and come to the realization that they can live life on their own terms.
On the video’s production, Kwon Se-hyeok noted that the song’s mood pushed the team toward faster cuts, drone footage and vivid color palettes. \"Since this track differs stylistically from our previous releases, we leaned into quicker edits, drone shots and bold colors — those changes stand out,\" he said.
Pyeon Seong-hyun added with a laugh, \"I heard they invested a bit more in this one. I thought I should be honest about that,\" drawing chuckles from the room.
