NCT's Taeyong unveils his musical identity on his first full-length album, 'WYLD'.
The full-length album 'WYLD' contains 10 tracks, including the title song. Taeyong co-produced the record, and all tracks will be released on streaming platforms at 6 p.m. on May 18.
The track 'Skiii' pairs brisk electronic production with hip-hop. Its driving, linear sound and dynamic arrangement build tension, while Taeyong's confident vocals guide the track.
Another cut, 'Feeling Myself,' combines hyperpop- and future-bass–inflected synths with punchy, propulsive drums. The song moves across genre boundaries with unexpected turns, and the lyrics reflect Taeyong's determination to stay centered amid shifting circumstances.
'Skiii' and 'Feeling Myself' first premiered at Taeyong's solo concert, 'TY TRACK – REMASTERED,' last January. The distinctive music and performances there drew strong reactions, and fans have been eagerly awaiting the studio releases.
At midnight on the 7th, NCT's official social channels also released 'WYLD' photography pt.4. The teaser frames Taeyong like a gallery piece, emphasizing an experimental mood and a "neo" image.
