On March 24, a press screening and Q&A for the film Salmokji (directed by Lee Sang-min; produced by The Lamp) was held at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Seoul's Yongsan district. Director Lee Sang-min and cast members Kim Hye-yoon, Lee Jong-won, Kim Jun-han, Kim Young-sung, Oh Dong-min, Yoon Jae-chan and Jang Da-ah attended the event.
Salmokji is a horror film in which a mysterious figure appears on a road-view image. When the crew travels to the reservoir to reshoot, they confront something lurking in the black, bottomless water. This is Lee Sang-min's first solo feature after making shorts such as Hamjinabi and Dollimchong.
Jang Da-ah plays Se-jung, Seong-bin's girlfriend and a rookie PD at Onroad Media. She said, \"They kindly offered me a role that was very different from the characters I've played before. The script was so intriguing that I accepted without hesitation. I was able to experience and perform moments I wouldn't normally encounter, and I think this will be valuable nourishment for my future acting.\"
She added, \"When I first dreamed of acting, I imagined buying a ticket and seeing my own film on the big screen. I'm grateful I got to work with such accomplished colleagues sooner than I expected.\"
Reflecting on the shoot, she noted that much of the film was shot in confined spaces and that those locations give the movie a powerful sense of atmosphere. \"Strangely, the locations felt eerie even during daylight,\" she recalled.
