On the afternoon of the 11th, SBS held a production press conference for its new Friday–Saturday drama Shin I-rang Law Office at SBS Hall in Mok-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul. Director Shin Joong-hoon and stars Yoo Yeon-seok, Esom, and Kim Kyung-nam attended, with Park Kyung-rim hosting the event.
Yoo noted, \"In Hedwig I played a single character, but in this series I get possessed by a different person each week, so it wasn't easy. The role settles in the later episodes, but I couldn't let my guard down until the end. It felt like taking on a new character every week.\"
He added, \"I play a high-school girl who becomes possessed by a ghost who used to be an idol. I once did a random-play dance on a variety show with producer Na Young-seok, and the director suggested we bring that element into the show. He told me, 'If you're going to be possessed, let's do it properly,' so I trained with a choreographer for about two months.\"
Yoo continued, \"I prepared rigorously and studied ending poses by watching labelmates IVE. I even showed the footage I shot at our company's outing, and IVE liked it — so we made a video together. I'll share a bit after the broadcast; for now it's in my personal collection.\"
Shin I-rang Law Office follows Shin I-rang (Yoo Yeon-seok), a lawyer possessed by spirits who helps the dead find catharsis, and Han Na-hyun (Esom), a cold-blooded elite attorney who stakes everything on winning. The series blends quirky cases with warm, cathartic revenge adventures. It premieres on the 13th at 9:50 p.m.
