Sold Out Again Today follows a perfectionist farmer, Matthew Lee (aka Mechuri), and a shopping host obsessed with sell-outs, Dam Ye-jin. Their lives collide day and night, unfolding a seasonally set romance about hardworking people who live to sell — and the sparks that fly when two very different work-obsessed lives entangle.
In the series, Kim plays Na-jin. She runs Somi's General Store in Deokpung-ri and, with her flashy wit, has become something of a local mascot who charms the village elders. As the eldest sister, Na-jin is also the rock of her household, dutifully caring for her only sibling, Somi. Through Na-jin's warm, affectionate energy — part rural sweetheart, part scrappy caretaker — Kim is expected to inject lively, welcoming humor into the show.
Kim made her debut on Naver TV in Jieun Living Well 2 and gradually built her résumé with web dramas such as The World of Girls and Someway. In 2022 she won the highly contested role of Nina in the late Lee Soon-jae's production of The Seagull, delivering a breakout stage performance. She has also left strong impressions on television, from Young-rang in MBC's Lovers to Geum-ok in Detective Inspector 1958, proving a range of performances and a solid screen presence. Audiences are curious to see what fresh facets she'll reveal in Sold Out Again Today.
Meanwhile, SBS's new Wednesday–Thursday drama Sold Out Again Today is set to premiere on April 22.
