[Sports Today reporter Im Si-ryeong] Lotte Cinema has unveiled its March lineup for Gwang-eum Cinema, promising audiences a distinct, immersive audio experience.

Gwang-eum Cinema offers far greater output and finely tuned sound compared with standard auditoriums, reproducing everything from subtle audio details to massive explosions with vivid clarity. This March slate is built around titles that rely on immersive sound: a racing blockbuster, a high-profile sci-fi release, and live concert screenings.

First, from March 11 to 15, Gwang-eum Cinema will re-screen F1®: The Movie. The film was a flagship title during the original Gwang-eum craze, and the roar of engines and screech of tires are designed to be felt as much as heard. The venue’s signature deep bass makes audiences feel as if they’re standing on the circuit, delivering an intense, visceral thrill.

On March 18, Gwang-eum Cinema will present one of the season’s most anticipated sci-fi films, Project Hail Mary. Set against the vastness of space, the movie depends on meticulous sound design to sell its scope; in Gwang-eum Cinema, the deep low end and the system’s ability to capture minute details will render spatial cues in three dimensions and deepen narrative immersion.

Finally, on March 21 and 28, Gwang-eum Cinema will live-stream 2026 NCT DREAM TOUR 'THE DREAM SHOW 4 : FUTURE THE DREA' FINALE (2,026 JPY (approximately 13.57 USD) 엔시티 드림 투어 '더 드림 쇼 4 : 퓨처 더 드림' 피날레). The presentation aims to reproduce not only the artists’ powerful vocals but also the audience’s roar, delivering the concert’s atmosphere as if you were on the floor. Gwang-eum Cinema’s combination of rich bass and balanced sound lays bare the raw energy of a live performance.

“Gwang-eum Cinema is an audio-specialized auditorium that completes the emotional impact of sound,” a Lotte Cinema spokesperson said. “We will continue to offer a distinctive sonic environment that audiences can experience only in theaters.”
