[TV Daily reporter Kim Jin-seok] Former NCT member Mark, who departed the group, addressed fans directly on the 10th anniversary of his debut.

On the 9th, Mark posted on a fan-communication platform: \"Today marks exactly 10 years since my debut. I am so grateful. I wanted to stop by and say hello again.\"

He said he has been taking time to sort things out and prepare for what comes next. \"I haven't been checking social media at all,\" he added. \"I only hear updates through people close to me.\"

Mark said he heard that fans sent a support truck and that he was moved by their encouragement and the positive hashtags. \"I'm truly thankful,\" he wrote.

He also offered an apology. \"I'm sorry to the fans and to everyone who felt hurt or upset because of me,\" he said. \"I'll work harder to repay the support and come back with a new side of myself.\"

Earlier, on the 3rd, Mark ended his exclusive contract with SM Entertainment and withdrew from all NCT units, including NCT 127 and NCT DREAM. In a handwritten letter at the time, he wrote that closing out the 10-year contract made him reflect on what his greatest possible dream might be.
