[EPN Enpinow reporter Go Nari] On KBS2TV's music program Immortal Songs, producers opened up about the stories behind Kim Bum-soo's signature tracks "Bogosipda" ("I Miss You") and "Keutsarang" ("Final Love").

Composer Yoon Il-sang offered a behind-the-scenes account of his work with Kim, describing an emotional training regimen tied to "Bogosipda." Yoon said they spent roughly a year intensively building the song's emotional core before recording, and he praised Kim for delivering that feeling with precision and nuance.

Yoon went on to say that both "Bogosipda" and "Keutsarang" mirror Kim's real-life romance. He explained that when "Bogosipda" was released, Kim had just begun loving one person, while "Keutsarang" emerged from the end of that same relationship—underscoring that the two songs trace a single man's love story.

He added that restraining tears while singing allows the audience to share in the emotion, calling the controlled, restrained delivery of "Bogosipda" particularly striking. Yoon also said he was especially satisfied with Kim's album version of the song.

The episode featured a diverse lineup of performers competing, including Min Woo-hyuk; Tours; Kiss of Life; WJSN's Dayoung; Mighty Mouth with Minyoung; and Novelbright's Takenaka Yudai.

Vocal ensemble La Poem delivered a moving rendition of "Bogosipda." Yoon said he was so impressed by their performance that he wanted to join them onstage, drawing attention to the act.

The broadcast also presented fresh interpretations of several of Yoon's other compositions—"Amor Fati," "I Have a Lover," and "As You Live" from the musical Seopyeonje—renewing interest in the stories and sincere emotions behind these classics.
