Namyangju City announced on May 4 that it will open its Sangsang N Playground — a local model for children's play facilities — free of charge on Children's Day and will offer a range of hands-on programs.

The Sangsang N Playground program spans five locations. The city will waive admission at four fee-based sites on Children's Day. Each site will present interactive activities, performances and family-friendly events.

At Site 1, Kkakkung Playground, visitors can enjoy balloon games and a photo zone. Site 2, the Book Playground, and Site 5, Doreureu, will host upcycling workshops. All locations will also offer small crafts such as bookmark making and Children's Day crown decorating.

Site 3, Ai-kkum Playground, will offer medal-making workshops for Children's Day. Site 4, Noljaram, will stage the puppet show "The Lazy One Who Became a Cow" and provide face painting to create lasting memories for children.

The Children's Vision Center will present a "Dreaming Experience Playground" theme featuring a flea market, performances and interactive workshops. Namyangju City said the programs are designed so children can actively participate and enjoy a festive Children's Day.

A Namyangju City official said, "We have prepared a variety of programs so children can run, play and make memories with their families on Children's Day. We will continue to work toward creating safe, creative play environments."

Event details are available on the Sangsang N Playground blog. For more information, contact Namyangju City's Childcare Division.
