To mark its 21st anniversary, Yanolja unveiled "Yanolja 3.0," a new growth vision set to guide the travel industry’s shift into the AI era.

Since launching in 2005, Yanolja has evolved from "Yanolja 1.0"—a phase focused on survival and building a foundation—into "Yanolja 2.0," which saw explosive growth by pivoting to mobile. Now, at an inflection point where AI is fundamentally reshaping the industry, the company is entering its next chapter: Yanolja 3.0.

Yanolja 3.0 expands the company’s mission—to make travel and leisure easier and more meaningful through technology—so it fits the AI era and a global marketplace. The goal is clear: use technology to create differentiated, customer-focused experiences.

In December, Yanolja also reshaped its leadership team to speed up execution of this vision.

The company named Choi Chan-seok to lead Corporate (Management Strategy and Corporate), Lee Jun-young to head Enterprise Solutions (formerly Yanolja Cloud), and Lee Cheol-woong to lead the Consumer Platform. The reorganization aims to maximize expertise across business areas while enabling tighter collaboration.

"AI is changing industry standards much more rapidly and powerfully than the mobile shift did," said Sujin Lee, Yanolja’s CEO. "Our technological innovation is meant to make the trips people dream about around the world ten times easier and more convenient. We want travel to deliver greater happiness, and we’ll expand that value and opportunity beyond Korea into global markets."
