Chungnam Province is celebrating the 2025–2026 "Year of Visiting Chungnam" by offering first-come, first-served spring accommodation discount coupons.
On the 5th, officials said the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the provincial government will run the "2026 Korea Accommodation Sale Festa" from the 8th through the 30th. Coupons will take ₩30,000 (about $22.50) off stays priced at ₩70,000 (about $52.50) or more, and ₩20,000 (about $15.00) off stays under ₩70,000 (about $52.50).
This year they've added a consecutive-night discount: for stays of two nights or more, guests can save up to ₩70,000 (about $52.50) on bookings of ₩140,000 (about $105.00) or more, and up to ₩50,000 (about $37.50) on bookings below ₩140,000 (about $105.00).
Starting at 10 a.m. on the 8th, one coupon per person will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis through online travel agency channels including Lotte On, MyRealTrip, Yeo-gi-eottae, Gmarket, KakaoTalk Reservations, 11st, and NOL.
The check-in period runs through the 30th of this month.
