[Inews24 Reporter Park Jong-su] The Samnye Culture and Arts Village in Wanju County, North Jeolla Province, is rolling out a full day of family-friendly programming on Children's Day, May 5, promising visitors an unforgettable experience.
The activities are designed to give children and families lasting memories and to boost the village's appeal as a stay-and-play arts destination.
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Children's Day across the outdoor plaza of the Samnye Culture and Arts Village.
Highlights include interactive magic shows, a kalimba and ocarina ensemble, face painting, balloon art, and a variety of hands-on activities and workshops for kids.
There will also be an up-close animal encounter area where visitors can meet turtles, parrots, rabbits, and other animals.
Wanju County's hydrogen XR (extended reality) smart bus, currently in pilot operation, will be stationed on site. Visitors can board the bus to experience Wanju County's cultural tourism educational content in an immersive way—perfect for anyone curious about how cutting-edge tech can enhance travel.
