According to EToday on the 12th, Suwon Special City will open the hanok experience village Namsuheon (南水軒) and the gallery café O's SUWON in June near the eastern fortress path of Suwon Hwaseong. The complex blends the aesthetic of traditional hanok with modern relaxation amenities.

Small gates line the narrow lanes, each with nameplates like anchae, byeoldangchae, and sarangchae, giving the place the warm, lived-in feel of a real village. There are 12 rooms across three types: the byeoldangchae includes three rooms for up to six guests, plus a tea room for a hands-on tea‑ceremony experience and an outdoor spa for soaking under the stars. The anchae and sarangchae feature six four-person rooms, two double rooms, and one accessible room.
The first floor houses the gallery café and lounge O's SUWON, open to both overnight guests and day visitors. Its sheltered layout creates a calm, immersive retreat in the middle of the city, and a glance up brings Seojangdae and the Suwon Hwaseong fortress wall into view.
Suwon offers a wide range of places to stay: 13 hanok lodgings, five large hotels, and the Suwon Youth Hostel. Brands such as Novotel Ambassador, Courtyard by Marriott, Ramada Plaza, Ibis Ambassador, and Four Points by Sheraton are distributed across the area.
