Uljin County, North Gyeongsang Province, will host its first seasonal tourism promotion—the “Yeouljin Flowercation” flower market—at Seongryugul on April 11–12.
This inaugural project is designed to showcase Uljin’s year-round charms. A variety of spring-focused programs will let locals and visitors soak up the season beneath trees strung with full-bloom cherry blossoms.
Three busking acts will perform along the decked path shaped like a cherry-blossom tunnel leading to Seongryugul, turning a simple walk into a romantic, unforgettable experience.
A full flower-themed program will take place in front of the Seongryugul cultural-tour guide’s house (near the Seongryugul north parking lot).
Local florists and flower businesses will sell vibrant bouquets and potted plants, and offer hands-on potting and floral-craft workshops open to all ages—so visitors can create spring memories with their own hands.
From April 1 through 12, including the event dates, the first 50 people who complete a stamp tour by visiting Uljin’s main flower spots will receive yacht boarding tickets for two.
“We organized this event to showcase Uljin’s beauty under a magical shower of cherry blossoms,” said Yoon Eun-gyeong, head of Uljin County’s Cultural and Tourism Division. “With Seongryugul’s natural scenery, flowers and music coming together in this Flowercation, we hope many visitors find a little escape from daily life and soak up the energy of spring.”
