Gokseong County in South Jeolla Province said on March 24 that it promoted spring flower tourism and the World Rose Festival at the 2026 NaeNara Travel Expo.
According to the county, the expo—hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Association—is one of Korea’s leading domestic travel fairs, drawing local governments as well as tourism organizations and businesses from across the country.
At the expo, Gokseong presented its theme, Blossoming Travel, Gokseong, showcasing Gokseong as a city of gardens, highlighting the World Rose Festival’s main programs, and promoting multi-day, stay-focused itineraries.
The county said it also heavily promoted incentive programs aimed at lowering travelers’ costs and boosting local spending, and emphasized accessibility by marketing rail-linked travel packages for visitors.
Gokseong is preparing a Fairy Tale Garden concert in May, a Children’s Day balloon event, and the World Rose Festival.
