The Philippines is a year-round diving playground — offering easy access, vibrant marine life, and iconic sites like Cebu, Bohol, Palawan and Anilao in Batangas. It’s no surprise the country was named the World’s Best Diving Destination by the World Travel Awards every year through 2025.

The Philippine Department of Tourism (DOT), in partnership with the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB), will be at the 2026 Seoul International Sports & Leisure Industry Exhibition (SPOEX) at COEX in Seoul from March 26–29, where they’ll operate a promotional booth.

SPOEX — co-hosted by the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation and the Korea International Trade Association — is South Korea’s largest sports and leisure industry expo. Last year, 319 companies exhibited and roughly 43,000 visitors attended, and the event continues to grow.

Within SPOEX, the Korea Underwater Sports Exhibition (KUSPO) zeroes in on underwater and water sports. The specialized show covers the entire underwater leisure sector — from diving gear and instruction to travel and marine activities — and has become a key platform connecting domestic and international diving businesses with consumers.

At KUSPO, the DOT and TPB will host a booth to spotlight the Philippines’ standout strengths as a diving destination.

On-site, they’ll showcase top Philippine dive sites, promote diving and marine-activity content, and provide information on local tours and hands-on programs. The booth will also offer B2B networking opportunities for industry professionals and travel agents, while serving as a resource for general visitors interested in underwater sports.

They’ll also plug into KUSPO’s seminar program to highlight Philippine dive destinations and local experiences, aiming to expand experiential tourism that inspires real trips.
