[Sports Seoul | Reporter Kim Yong-il] Jeju Ranch, run by the Korea Racing Authority, is reopening its popular Tractor Carriage Tour to visitors starting April 10.

The Tractor Carriage Tour lets you hop aboard a special carriage pulled by a large tractor to glide across the ranch’s wide pastures and take in breathtaking scenery. From spring through fall, both tourists and locals can explore areas of the ranch that are usually off-limits, making for a memorable, offbeat experience.

This year’s tour runs for eight months, from April 10 through November 29. The roughly 3 km route departs the main information center and passes the stallion grazing area, the Hallasan observation deck, the young-horse grazing area, and the horse monument before returning. The entire ride lasts about 30 minutes. Stops like the Hallasan observation deck and the stallion grazing area offer views you can only see at Jeju Ranch.

Tours operate every Friday, Saturday and Sunday — three departures on Fridays and five on Saturdays and Sundays. Admission is 3,000 KRW (about $2.25) for riders ages 13 and up, 2,000 KRW (about $1.50) for children under 13, and free for infants under 36 months.
