On the 10th, Connect Place’s Seoul Station branch announced it has revamped its services and on-site content for independent travelers (FITs) in response to a surge in spending by international visitors.
On the second floor — where many foreign visitors tend to gather — the location now features a curated convenience zone with suitcase-friendly lockers, a currency-exchange kiosk, and portable battery charging stations.
It also added a My Passport kiosk stocked with travel essentials like tote bags and neck pillows, plus a Photo T-money kiosk where travelers can design personalized transit cards.
The move follows a steep jump in international spending: in Q4 2025, Connect Place Seoul Station’s revenue from foreign customers surged 240% year over year and rose 91% from the prior quarter (Q3).
A Hanwha Connect spokesperson said Connect Place Seoul Station has quickly become a must-see Seoul landmark, offering visitors a snapshot of Korea’s latest trends at both the start and end of their trips. The company plans to expand bespoke convenience services and K-culture content as it develops the site into a global destination.
