[Sports Seoul | Reporter Choi Seung-seop] Ha Won-mi, the wife of former baseball star Choo Shin-soo and a TV personality, just shared a hilarious airport mishap from a recent trip to Florida.
On March 9, Ha posted several photos on her social media with the caption, "Life really is a sitcom..."
In the shots, Ha and her daughter So-hee are soaking up the emerald waters and laid-back vibes of Anna Maria Island, Florida.
Ha turned heads in a red-and-pink striped bikini that showed off her toned, athletic figure. Her daughter So-hee mirrored her proportions, making for a sweet mother-daughter moment.

But behind that peaceful beach vibe was a sitcom-worthy twist.
Ha says the trouble began after they checked out of the hotel with some extra time before their flight. They stopped at Target to buy swimsuits, then, on a whim, swung by the beach.
The snag? Their flight time. They got carried away at the shore and, as boarding time loomed, had to return the rental car and sprint to the airport wearing wet swimsuits and covered in sand.
Ha recalled how awkward it felt and asked, "Did anyone know that wearing a wet swimsuit under your clothes can set off the security scanner?" Wet garments can appear anomalous on security equipment because of density differences, so travelers should take note.
She breathed a sigh of relief that they still made the flight and joked that her ultra-planning husband, Choo Shin-soo, would have fainted at the scene. thunder@sportsseoul.com
