T'way Air made a splash at ITB Berlin 2026 — the world's largest travel trade show — forging a partnership to drive demand from German companies for trips to South Korea.
The airline said on March 10 that, during the March 3–5 event in Berlin, it signed a four-party memorandum of understanding (MOU) aimed at attracting German corporate travelers and launched promotional efforts to boost business travel to South Korea.
ITB Berlin is the premier B2B travel fair where global industry leaders gather to debate trends and forge partnerships. This year, T'way Air teamed up with the Korea Tourism Organization's Frankfurt office to operate a Korea tourism pavilion and present a tailored business sales program.
The pact was signed by four organizations: T'way Air, the Korea Tourism Organization, Insenio GmbH (a standing adviser to the German Association of Small and Medium Enterprises), and Frankfurt Rhein-Main GmbH. The partners aim to stimulate visits by German companies and expand commercial exchanges between the two countries.
Under the MOU, T'way Air will offer participating German small and medium-sized enterprises in the incentive program a suite of perks, including special fares, extra free baggage allowance, two waived itinerary-change fees, and complimentary Deutsche Bahn connection services within Germany.
The Korea Tourism Organization will enhance convenience for German business travelers using T'way Air by providing customized travel information, rechargeable transit cards, and support for bleisure (business + leisure) trips.
Operating the Incheon–Frankfurt route, T'way Air has also been active in strengthening Korea–Germany ties through initiatives such as supporting events marking the 60th anniversary of Koreans who worked in Germany, receiving a certificate of appreciation from the Consulate General in Frankfurt, and sponsoring German-speaking contests in Busan, Ulsan, and South Gyeongsang Province.
A T'way Air spokesperson said, “This agreement will strengthen our ability to attract German business travelers and help expand corporate exchanges between the two countries. We will continue working to secure global business clients and enhance our service competitiveness.”
