On the 3rd, posts on multiple online communities, including DCInside, reported that Yoon Mirae—who had been slated to debut with the girl group Swalla—died on the 17th of last month.
Cheerleader and influencer Kim Hana announced on Instagram, \"Mirae, my teammate and roommate for more than ten years, has embarked on a long journey, still as girlish and lovely as ever,\" sharing the news with followers.
Kim added, \"She always loved all things glamorous and fun. I hope the beginning of her new journey is bright and lively. My only wish is that it be filled with happy memories and the warmth of many people's love.\"
Kim said she would serve as the chief mourner and asked that anyone who knew Mirae come to share their final farewells.
In 2019, Yoon had been preparing to debut with Kim Hana and other members as the girl group Swalla, but the project collapsed shortly before their official debut. Unable to realize her dream of becoming a singer, Yoon redirected her career into dancing and continued performing.
