[The Dguru = Reporter Lee Yeon-chun] The nonprofit Korean Pacific Philharmonic Orchestra (KPPO) will stage a special concert for Family Month that sets life’s milestones to music. Under the direction of artistic director Kang Won-ho, a roster of accomplished performers will join the ensemble. Saxophonist Yeo Yohan, bandoneonist Kim Jong-wan and vocalists Hanarin and Kim Gi-seon will appear as guest soloists, collaborating closely with the orchestra.

KPPO said on the 30th that it will present its fourth regular concert, Sagiyeon (四季緣): \"The Moment All Your Seasons Become Music,\" at 5 p.m. on the 9th of next month in Jangcheon Hall at the Gwanglim Art Center in Gangnam, Seoul.

The program is built around the humanistic theme \"Life flows like a season.\" It reconceives the human life cycle as four narrative stages—birth, growth, love and reminiscence—to deliver a deeply emotional experience. Organizers also emphasize that the concert is family-friendly, designed for parents and children to enjoy together.

The performance unfolds in four sections that mirror the seasons: Spring captures the thrill of birth and childhood; Summer evokes the leaps and passions of youth; Autumn reflects maturity and the fruits of life; and Winter offers a tribute to family and a moment of consolation.

The repertoire is deliberately diverse, pairing canonical works by Verdi, Beethoven and Mendelssohn with well-known film scores and crossover arrangements. The programming lowers the barrier to classical music so audiences across generations can engage comfortably.

Kang Won-ho said, \"This concert will offer older generations a warm tribute to the lives they've lived and remind younger listeners of the importance of family. Through music—the universal language—we hope to break down generational walls and create a space for genuine communication.\"
