[Sports Seoul | Reporter Lee Dong-yoon] Fans of singer Lee Chan-won marked the sixth anniversary of his debut by spreading goodwill.

In March, Lee Chan-won’s fan club, Seoul Chance LCW.SC, donated 1,008 bottles of Sugar Bubble dishwashing detergent to the Jeongneung Comprehensive Social Welfare Center in Seoul to commemorate his sixth year since debut. The items were provided by the brand for which Lee serves as an exclusive model, lending extra significance to the contribution.

Lee’s recently released second full-length album, Chanran, posted first-week sales of 611,186 copies, making it his third consecutive half‑million seller and a career high.

He has also demonstrated strong cross-generational appeal as a host, appearing on KBS’s Immortal Songs and The Secret of the Celebrity Soldier, on JTBC’s Tokpawon 25, and most recently joining MBC’s Surprise Mystery Salon as its host.

Meanwhile, Lee Chan-won is touring nationwide with Changa: A Radiant Day. Fresh off a successful stop in Gwangju, he’s set to perform in Daejeon and will keep the momentum going with an encore concert at the Seoul Olympic Gymnastics Arena in May. ldy17@sportsseoul.com
