[Sports Today reporter Kim Tae-hyung] Wonpil of band DAY6 is set to return as a solo artist with the new single "Sarang Byung-dong" ("Love Ward").

Wonpil will release his first mini-album, Unpiltered, on the 30th. On the afternoon of the 13th, JYP Entertainment posted the album's tracklist image to DAY6's official social media channels, raising expectations among fans.

The record features seven tracks: title song "Sarang Byung-dong" ("Love Ward"), "Toxic Love" (톡식 러브), "I've Become an Adult" (어른이 되어 버렸다), "Up All Night" (업 올 나잇), "Step by Step" (스텝 바이 스텝), "Not a Million Flowers" (백만송이는 아니지만), and "Piano" (피아노).

Wonpil wrote and composed every track on the album, showcasing his skills as an emotionally driven singer-songwriter. He also enlisted long-time collaborator composer Hong Ji-sang, along with hitmakers Lee Woo-min (collapsedone), Park Woo-sang (LOGOS), TAEY (LOGOS), and minGtion, to add sonic variety to the project.

Unpiltered — Wonpil's first release roughly four years after his first full-length album Filmography — is intended to present him without filters. Rather than polishing or refining his image, the album focuses on revealing his authentic self, naturally conveying his inner world and personal narrative. After contributing rich sensitivity and a warm vocal presence across DAY6 releases and previous solo work, listeners are eager to hear the broader musical story he unfolds on this record.

Riding the momentum of his solo comeback, Wonpil will stage a three-night solo concert, WONPIL SOLO CONCERT 'Unpiltered', from May 1 through May 3. Further details about the performances will be announced later.

Wonpil's mini-album Unpiltered and its title track "Sarang Byung-dong" will be available on streaming platforms at 6 p.m. on the 30th.
