On March 14, ILLIT (Yoona, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, Iroha) launched the first stop of their inaugural tour, ILLIT LIVE PRESS START♥︎ in SEOUL (hereafter PRESS START), at Ticketlink Live Arena (formerly the Handball Stadium) in Songpa District, Seoul.
That evening, the members revealed a different side of the group with a series of unit performances.
Dressed in black, Yoona, Minju and Iroha performed "Desperate," a track from the ILLIT member audition series R U Next?. Moka and Wonhee teamed up to perform "Scrum," another song featured during R U Next?.
After the set, Moka asked her bandmates how it felt to perform a unit stage for the first time since their debut.
Yoona replied, "This was my first time performing 'Desperate.' I had so much fun. I'm curious how the Glits felt about it — did you enjoy it?"
Minju said, "It had been a while for me, and old memories came back. While we were preparing, the Glits shouted, 'We love ILLIT,' and I almost cried. I'm so grateful."
Iroha added, "Before the show, I saw comments asking us to perform 'Desperate,' so I was really excited to do it on stage."
Wonhee noted, "I've performed with Moka before, but this was our first time as a duo. It felt fresh and fun."
Moka reflected, "More than anything, I was deeply moved thinking about all the time we spent chasing this dream. After that journey, we debuted and now we can perform in front of the Glits — it's thanks to them."
