IU's character Seong Hee-ju pays a visit to Grand Prince Ian (Byun Woo-seok) and proposes.
On the 10th, MBC aired '21st Century Great Lady,' in which Seong He-ju (IU) makes a bold bid to marry Grand Prince Ian (Byun Woo-seok).
Seong Hee-ju told the secretary who tried to stop her that she'd already requested an audience. When Grand Prince Ian learned of the application, he refused. Spurned, Seong Hee-ju bristled and demanded to know why he had turned her down, accusing him of "playing hard to get."
Yoon I-rang (Gong Seung-yeon) bristled at Grand Prince Ian's nonchalance. When Seong Hee-ju reapplied, he refused again—but she kept submitting requests.
She filed another request under a different name. When she presented herself as a junior, Grand Prince Ian finally agreed to receive her. Seated across from him, she asked plainly, "Will you marry me?"
